Album Notes

Revolve is a band from Compass, a new church in West Vancouver, WA. Compass is an emerging church for a changing world that is seeking to discover God. Compass is commited to creatively expressing ourselves to God. This CD is a reflection of those creative efforts.
The band Revolve consists of Micah and Kristen Dodson, husband and wife and Brent Gilbert. Brent is Revolve's percussionist and drummer (aka Dr. Rythm). Kristen provides all of the female vocals, including the amazing harmonies as well as the piano work. Micah provides the male vocals and guitar. All songs were written by Micah and Kristen who find song writing to be a wonderful gift in their marriage.
The Revolve crew started playing all together about 5 years ago. Their start was primarily in a church setting, but has moved to local venues in Vancouver, WA.
This CD, Breath is the first release for Revolve. The band has played together on other CDs under other names (Jacob's Well & Nights on T). This CD was recorded in the Compass studio by Wayne Miller in Vancouver, WA.
The band name "revolve" is really a word combination. "Re" is to do something over "evolve" or "volve" relates to change or rotation. All this to say the name is about having another chance on life, a chance to live life as it was intended, a new spin on living.
