Rev. Truman Goines (revtrumangoines.com)is known as the Sourland Troubadour writing and singing times about the mysterious mountain area in central New Jersey called the Sourland mountain Region. The tunes reflect the convergence of styles from southern piedmont to New York folk and jazz, and Philadelphia soul: a true New Jersey sound.
Known for his work as Seth Andrews with an urban piano nod, to his work with Jr. Bliggins on harmonica, his music is as unique as his sweet and crunchy voice that sends shivers of joy down your spine.
The songs flirt with traditional upbeat folk gospel, ragtime runabout, blues magooism, romantically ambivalent nugatory, the funk of down home soul and the weep of jazz.
