Have you lost a loved one, are you lonely, have you been ill for a period of time. This CD will leave you uplifted and renewed. This is the one you leave in the car and listen to on your daily work commutes.

This is Rex's first CD release. This CD highlights Rex's range of musical styles. His lyrics in combination with the liner notes are food for thought. Twelve of the forteen tracks are original and in it's entirety it is a pleasing listening CD that uses the difference between successive songs to keep you interested as to what is coming on the next track.

Rex was born in Akron, Ohio and resides near Rochester, NY today. In his early music years he learned guitar by listening to Venture classics. Later pop artist like the Beatles, Young Rascals, and the Doors as well as a host of soul groups of the 60's became his influences. His early years were also influenced by his early guitar lessons having been tutored for a summer by Joe Walsh, who later left his mark on groups including the Jame Gang and the Eagles.

While raising his family he has continued to jam with local musicians and started writing music never knowing these songs would ever see the light of day. As his children have grown up and started their own life he has embarked on sharing his spiritual growth and musical talent through contemporary style Christian music.

Rex is not stuck to a specific musical style and each track has it's own flavor. After listening to this entire CD, you won't be able to say, "Man, every song sounds the same." I believe everyone can find something appealing in his music and will discover his message to be a timeless one.
