Robert G. Ploska is a multifaceted musician as demonstrated by the various instruments he plays, including guitar, bass, keyboards, flute, drums, and even banjo. His debut album, Thundering Skies, is currently selling in the United States and Europe.
Characterized as New Age/Jazz, his style of music often demonstrates his versatility that sets him apart from other artists. At times his compositions may yield a strong rock influence, while others may offer a classical feel. No matter what style he weaves into his musical pieces, he allows his music to evolve, heightening the sense of anticipation among his listeners. Robert's use of acoustic and electronic instruments, as well as the natural sound effects, appropriately complement the content of this booktrack. Although meant to musically tell the Dropas' first adventure, the music can also be enjoyed on its own.
Extraordinary circumstances brought this team together, making Robert's involvement on the Dropas' project nothing short of fate. Already having numerous sample compositions with no home, Robert was introduced to the associate producers who had a home, but no music to fill it.
"When I first met Scott and Timm, I knew we were going to work together. . .we just creatively jelled,” recalls Robert. Scott adds, “the music needed to reflect my story, but more important, capture the emotion. The match was instantaneous.”
Included in this CD is a colorful twelve-page booklet that includes various excerpts from the original story, "The Dropas: Breaking Through The Walls", written by Scott R. Etters. Listen to the compositions alone or become a part of the story. The music is enjoyable either way.
