Child of Song
author: Michael Gamel-McCormick
Smith and Rhinesmith have created a melodic, charming, accessible album of songs in English, French and Spanish with lyrics by Stephen Foster, Omar Khayam and others. Smith's guitar, especially on his arrangements of the Foster songs, is subtle yet full and engaging. This is a delightful album, with new surprises revealed upon repeated listening.
