A great live peformance and hysterical interview from July 5,1999 on WLIR Radio. Great CD to listen to. The band is interviewed and they perform the songs OUT, Nesmiths Folly, No Explanations and others. Very Beatles/Monkees humor interview. Cool packaging! Released 1/00 over 50 minutes and includes and cover of Bowie's When You Rock and Roll with Me. Released 2000.

A three song CD originally sold at the Cancer Care Benefit Concert in 1999. Contains an alternate mix of No Explanations, a early version of Walking in Circles and The Flask Incident. Most have collectable. Very few left. Profits go to cancer care.

Christmas is Coming
Rhino Caravan's first release was a three song Christmas CD in 1998. It features three original Christmas songs including Christmas is coming!




The idea behind Rhino Caravan is simplicity.Three of Long Island's most respected musicians have banded together to recreate the modern day pop song. Placing substance and content before gimmickry, Rhino Caravan weaves a texture of meaningful lyrics and straight-forward arrangements that place the focus on the songs themselves.

Lead vocalist Ed Ryan had been known as the theatrical front man for the group Wide Awake, first place winners of two major music competitions. He has also made his mark as a headlining stand-up comic, but don't let that fool you-Ed's lyrics and performances are as insightful and heartfelt as they are entertaining.

Bassist, Tom Cavanagh is Long Island's Renaissance Man: lead guitarist for the award-winning band Wardance, creator of the instrumental group The Sons of Infinity, composer of movie soundtracks, producer, solo artist and founder of Bent Pussycat Records. Rhino Caravan marks Tom's debut as what we believe to be the first lead bassist in pop music.

And Dave Hermantin is quite simply the Drummer's drummer. With a resume that includes stints with Wide Awake, Satya, Finally Balanced and Blue Groove. Dave was the last important piece of the puzzle needed to get this Rhino Caravan rolling.
