Johnny Rhino is a composer/musician who like to involve others in the making of his music. Thus the name Johnny Rhino Project for the albums created. The Rhino is very comfortable in a variety of musical styles and writes accordingly. Whether it is a remake of a traditional folk tune such as Codine, a pop ballad like Kathy, a blues like Tired of the Blues, jazzy like Smooth It Out, or experimental like Resurrection, The Rhino is not afraid to give it a unique style. When you listen you can almost see what you are hearing. Check out some of the songs.

RESURRECTION is a tone poem on Jesus return to earth. No small feat.

TIRED OF THE BLUES was inspired by the days when the poor Rhino had to sing blues songs with bands for twenty minutes to kill time. Pam Martinez is not killing time singing this song. A strong voice and strong delivery make her one of the top Denver blues singers. Check the sample
