I have had the opportunity to see most of the songs on this album develop from scratch. Chris (RhVibe) has worked with these songs for so long, altering lyrics; experimenting with rythm; choosing effective chord progressions and octave changes.
The music on this cd is a compilation of intelligent, individual creativity and is, at the very least, worth a listen. I not only have had the pleasure of listening to the songs on Waiting Around, int their various stages of development, but also performing them. I will be the first to tell you that Chris cares about his music! Whether jamming, playing a gig, or recording- Chris always looking for a consistent sound of excellence in his music. His album, Waiting Around is a testament to this.
