Album Notes

Jerome Anthony Rhyant was born in Fort Pierce, Florida to two very loving parents, Odessa and Pastor Thomas Rhyant, Sr. Jerome followed his father’s strict philosophy for his sons, there were three unconditional house rules... you had to sing, work, and go to church. Singers with high falsetto voices such as his older brother Thomas Jr., legendary soul singer Peabo Bryson and Phillip Bailey of the universal hit act "Earth, Wind, & Fire", always inspired Jerome. At the tender age of five along with his three talented brothers, Jerome started performing at various venues in different parts of the country; they called themselves, "The Rhyant Singers".

Little did Jerome Rhyant know that one day all of his tireless efforts would lead him to one of the biggest record producers in the history of the music business, Maurice Starr. After listening to some of Jerome’s music, Maurice could not believe Rhyant’s incredible vocal ability and immediately agreed to take on the future star.

Maurice Starr is known for discovering, producing and managing pop teen icons, “New Kids On The Block” and R&B hit teen sensation, “New Addition”. Starr’s music has sold over 500 Million Records, generated more than 6 billion dollars in revenue, and earned him hundreds of gold and platinum records from around the world.

Starr believes that Rhyant's new song, “The Ten Commandments”, written and arranged by Jerome Rhyant and friend, Frederick Esters, Jr., with its mid-tempo beat will bond people from all walks of life, uniting them for a common cause… that we can change the world, one person at a time. The single, “I Cherish Your Love”, written by Maurice Starr, is a song that expresses the Love one has for another, a love that is precious, and a love that is cherished. Producer Carlo Tennisi and songwriter Wanda Xula have also contributed their expertise and talent to this wonderful song. In addition, with all this said, take notice and get ready for Jerome Rhyant’s New CD Project, “The Ten Commandments”. Jerome Is very excited about where God is about to take him!

REVIEWS

This cd blesses me each time I listen to it.
author: Val Thomas
There's so much turmoil in the world today and people need hope. This cd contains a message that will bless those who are lost and remind those, who already know God, that He will never let them down. I'm blessed and encouraged each time I listen to it. It's truly an annointed word that can change your way of thinking, if you let it.

Honor thy ears and buy this CD

Refreshing, upbeat, and a really enjoyable listen. The songs give you a sense of hope and belonging, and it's hard not to feel lifted up when you hear Rhyant's light touch and twist of phrase. It's praise music the way it should be - easy on the ears and not pounding a message into you, but lightly coaxing you to turn your heart. Cool!
