Album Notes

Rich and Tonya Mandl are the husband and wife teacher-team that make up Rhymin’Reason, a couple of science and nature lovers who write 'songs to grow by' for all ages. Their second CD, ‘Metamorphos Us,’ is dedicated to Dr. Jane Goodall, who is the “Weirdest Chimp” of the title track.

Regular performers at the L.A. Environmental Educational Fair and the Huntington Library, Rhymin'Reason started as a duo at the Association for Environmental & Outdoor Education (AEOE) Spring conference in 2002. Since then they have picked up the Ecomaniacs: guitarslinger Erich Schneider and drummer Matt Lesser are professional touring and recording musicians that help crank up the cool.

Music that's both educational and good listening isn't easy to come by, but Rhymin'Reason & the Ecomaniacs deliver smart, sweet tunes that won't drive parents crazy.
