Ricardo Tamez
Born in Monterrey Mexico; Tamez started to play guitar at 11 years old,
he did classical and flamenco guitar studies in Monterrey and Spain. his CD debut is "City of Mountains" includes
songs with different Latin rythms such as Rumba,flamenco,Huapango and pop music.
Ricardo's music has remembrances of Spanish and Mexican folk music; he has his own personality as musician and all his talent,
sensibility and his passion is expressed on "City of Mountains". "All my music was born from my heart,in My city of mountains
(this was Monterrey city is called since it's located between hills and mountains) the guitarist says.
Ricardo was big winner playing his music in a international talent contest organized by ACS Inc at 2008 and
he was second at this same competition on 2007 edition.
