"Fields of Freedom-Celtic Hymns and Meditations" is an incredibly unique
and artistically produced collection of hymns, Irish instrumentals,
and Scripture meditations. From the very beginning. you will hear
haunting, ancient Christian Celtic instrumentals such as Ag Criost An tSiol
on uilleann pipes and you will be uplifted by Celtic fiddle tunes such
as Crosses of Annagh. "Fields of Freedom" features Ric's heart stirring
vocal renditions of timeless hymns such as Just As I Am, Be Thou My
Vision and He Leadeth Me.

This CD also features special guests Phil Keaggy and Sheila
Walsh. Guitar legend Phil produced Ric's original song "Alleluia" and sang
goose bump provoking, background vocals on Be Thou My Vision. Sheila
(former host of the 700 Club, who is originally from a town near
Glascow, Scotland) contributed voice-overs for the Scripture meditations.

"Fields of Freedom" is based on the Scripture found in Galatians 5:1 that
says, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free”. We only need to
accept the gift that came from Christ's sacrifice. When we accept this
gift we are truly free indeed.
