Great Title
author: Tailfeather
A dear friend sent me this CD for my birthday and I'm so glad she did. It comforted me through some bittersweet times recently and is now music I turn to whenever I need my spirit recharged (which is often). Like Rice Drewry's previous CD, "When You Smile," this one also strikes all the expressive senses. Some songs I sing to, some I cry to (I Am, I Wish) but, best of all, some I dance to, and I LOVE to dance! Knowing Rice Drewry is in the Memphis area, I hope I can find him playing somewhere next spring when I'm vacationing there because I'd like to see him perform in person. Great title song too - any one with even the tiniest, creative bone in their body lives and breathes in one of a thousand shades of gray!

Thousand Shades of Gray

I didn't think anything could compare to Rice's first solo CD, "When You Smile," but "Thousand Shades of Gray" surpasses it with its etherial sounds and thought provoking lyrics. I'm well on the way to knowing all of the tunes by heart, as I do with his first CD. Several songs appear to be a collaborative effort with another Drewry - obviously a talented relative! This is music that will have your toes tapping and the time spent listening will fly by.

thousand Shades of Gray

Rice Drewry's second solo CD is his best effort yet--a collection of satisfying, singable originals that range from moving, to thought-provoking, to irresistibly buoyant. Impeccably produced by the amazing Jack Holder, "Thousand Shades of Gray" belongs in the category of "constant rotation" in your CD changer. Five stars.
