This CD features a marvelous collection of music that children are often not exposed to at a young age, and after hearing it we have to questions why they aren't, since our young testers enjoyed it so. There are traditional folk songs, Tin Pan Alley, Ragtime, Jazz, Boogie Woogie, Big Band, well you get the idea. With each style parents felt that their children's music appreciation grew and broadened. Overall, the music is very happy and upbeat while the vocals are very clear making it easy for kids to remember and then sing along to. About the Artist

Richard Geere is an award-winning composer, international performing artist and award-winning educator. This CD is the latest in his award-winning collection of music for children. (I guess this guy wins awards huh!)

In addition to his international performing and recording career (Los Angeles, London, Tokyo more...) he is a tireless advocate of quality music for children. He is also the recipient of the much-coveted "Angel Award" from the City of Los Angeles for his services to music education. Richard recently founded "Advance the Arts" a Non-Profit Foundation for bringing the arts to public schools.

Richard is a regular performer at Disneyland. (This guy is busy!) So if you're ever in the Magic Kingdom, check out the Hook & Ladder Co. at the firehouse on Main St. and say hi!
