Album Notes
Richard is a native of London, England, writing his first tune at the age of seven. After putting the viola to one side to pick up the guitar he haunted London's Folk circuit. Leaving for Europe on a couple of pounds and a visitor's passport, he ended up
recording two singles for RCA, France - band name 'Nobody'. Thereafter:
Recorded album for Philips/Polygram, Ireland, band name - 'The Phantom Orchestra' - two songs written and recorded for this album - album name - 'Voila'.
First solo record - 'Gotta Go' for EMI/Pathe Marconi, own recording label in Germany - 'Encantado' - released solo album - album name ' Nightfall' all own songs.
Lots of concerts with friends such as...
Rick Washington (Eagles, US Mail), Dieter Bornschlaegel (Guru, Guru), Freddy White, Barry Moore, Chikara Tsuzuki (Jaques Higelin band), Bobbye Hall (Bob Dylan band), Anthony Thistlethwaite (The Water Boys), Frank Itt (Jennifer Rush), Mox Gowland (Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner), Bob Geldorf, Richie Buckley (Van Morrison band)
