I was just searching around for some good Christmas music and came upon this wonderful album. What a wonderful mix of traditional Christmas music and bluegrass. I love the varied instruments that the Richardson/Dupuy duo play. What wonderful additions of instruments such as the bouzoukis and mandolas. I was so intrigued by this album I looked the artists up and was impressed with the eclectic, multitalents of Melissa Dupuy. I am curious to know how many of these instruments she played on the album. And what a beautiful voice Dale Ann has. Kudos to Melissa, Dale Ann and Deanie.

Truly a treasure and must have to make your Christmas even more delightful. Deanie Richardson by far is the most talented fiddle player I've ever heard. Listening to her play is like listening to a sincere heartbeat with sensual melodies. She is such a wonderful artist who truly loves and enjoys her special gift and plays with such heart and emotion. Watching her play and getting into her music, she truly makes her instrument part of her and pulls you into a song to a distant place. My favorite track on this cd is O Holy Night, she makes you remember why we celebrate, it is a chilling, beautiful piece of artistry. I love New Star Shining, There's A New Kid In Town, again, making us remember why we celebrate Christmas, beautiful versions, very heartwrenching. It Came Upon A Midnight Clear, very upbeat wonderful version, gets your toes tapping, awesome picking. What Child Is This is captivating. There is not a bad track on this CD - how could there be? This is Deanie Richardson, indulge indulge indulge - you can't go wrong with this CD - I will be playing it while decorating, wrapping gifts and sitting back in my rocking chair in awe of her glorious gift.
