ABOUT JENNIFER RICHMAN

Jennifer Richman is a New York City based singer/songwriter who has just released her long awaited LP, FLOWERS OF GOLD. Her writing style is sensitive and soulful with lyrics written from a very personal place to inspire. Comparable to Sarah Mclachlan and Jewel Kilcher, Jennifer's music is described as acoustic soft rock laced with pop, inspirational, and folk/rock.

FLOWERS OF GOLD is about the struggles of life and the experience of shining through them. Lyrics and melodies of all eleven tracks are written by Jennifer. Every one of them transmits heartfelt experiences and this is what Jennifer is all about. Featured on the album: Philip A. Jimenez (Weatus), Marcus Wolf (Thalia), Dave Eggar (Josh Groban, Lauren Hill).

Jennifer's live performances are genuine, whether at a New York City venue with a full band, a small café, a street/health fair, or when playing her music for local hospital patients and children with autism.

She frequently leads music groups in mental health clinics and teaches her patients piano, guitar, singing and songwriting. Jennifer has also brought her music into a public school for teenage children with autism. It is a humbling and inspiring experience to see the impact that music has made in their lives. She achieves phenomenal results with this style of rehabilitation.

Jennifer is also currently dancing with the OMALAY Dance Theater, a multicultural Brooklyn-based dance company as well as continuing to sing and write her beautiful music.

An Awesome Inspirational Album!!
author: Frankie Roman
I have worked with Jen side by side with special education students for a year and have heard her sing one of her special tunes "Better Days" with them. I have watched the excitement whenever Jen takes out her guitar and begins to sing with them and it is wonderful. When Jen told me that she was releasing a CD of songs I was very glad, she has such great talent. She has a deep tenderness in her voice and an aura of love whenever she expresses it. When I got her CD I was so amazed as to the way her lyrics weave her life experiences. It is fantastic. I really enjoy the different styles that she has packed in her CD. The production is also great (nothing like a school auditorium..lol). Lead on Jen!! :-)
