Album Notes

Philosophy of Chance released a 6-song CD entitled "Mind's Eye" in 1997. Vocalist Christopher, Philosopher, and guitarist Rich Marcil crafted the songs to leave listeners feeling upbeat and energized through thoughtful lyrics, soulful vocals, and emotion-stirring guitar textures. Musically, P.O.C. has been described as influenced by U2, Rush, R.E.M., Simple Minds, and The Beatles.

Respected Florida-based JAM Magazine gave the CD "3 out of 4" stars and described "Mind's Eye" as "chiming guitars and wistful vocals...certainly endearing".

Vocalist Christopher, Philosopher, left for his home of Atlanta in the late 1990's to pursue other creative ventures. He currently has an eclectic, thought-provoking website at www.christopherphilosopher.com that includes updated information on his latest adventures.

Guitarist Rich Marcil has a new band, The Forefathers, which performs original World Music Fusion instrumentals. See www.theforefathers.com for more info. Rich's 2003 solo CD, From the Edge, is available at CD Baby. See the link at the left of this page.

Christopher and Rich are planning work on new P.O.C. material in 2006. Fans should watch this space for updates as the project evolves!

I saw Philosophy of Chance several years ago and they rocked! I found their CD here and bought it right away. I love all these songs. When I hear Calling Collect, Walls Talking, Not Invincible, and Wheels, I can't get those songs out of my head! If you like Rem, U 2 or upbeat rock, you'll love POC!
