Album Notes

RICH WILBUR was a mainstay of the San Francisco Bay Area music scene until his untimely passing June 10, 1992. He was a founding member of the blues band Delta Wires and guitarist/singer for the Bay's longest-lived bluegrass band, High Country. Later he made yet another notable mark with a group known notably as Hired Hands. As he was a musician with broad talents, the work presented here spans an 18 year period. These tracks have long since been unavailable, plus there's a bonus song which never before made it onto any album.

This memorial retrospective contains a total of 25 tracks, comprising Rich Wilbur at his finest performing country, bluegrass, and gospel standards. This production is sure to entertain audiences both new and old, and profit any singer on the lookout for great material. It's one in a million! Sophronie Records thanks you for your interest.
