Album Notes

Rick was born in the home of Rock-n-Roll Cleveland, Ohio. Being the youngest of seven, Rick was exposed to every genre of music imaginable. His father was a local honky-tonk singer as well, playing songs by Hank Williams Sr., Marty Robbins, Eddy Arnold, and Hank Snow. It was only a matter of time before that music became part of Rick’s musical education. Like most singers, Rick started off by playing at church. As a member of Conestoga he played throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. They became one of the most sought after bands in the Cleveland area allowing them to open for Sawyer Brown and The Ranch at the Cleveland Country Music Festival. Rick began songwriting and pursuing a solo recording career leading him to two recording contracts and several trips to Nashville. Several of Rick’s songs are featured in the Perception Film’s release “Objects of Wrath.” The DVD also features a music video for the acoustic version of “Alive and Well.” The New York Music Festival named Rick the best male country singer for its July 2004 festival held in Las Vegas. Recently, Rick has become involved with the Westcare’s Healthy Family Project concert series headed up by Matt Dorman. Rick was also named one of the Semi-finalists in the Country category at the 33rd GMA Music in the Rockies.
