Jazz pianist. Studied with Frank Foster, Count Basies's tenor saxophonist and arranger. Played with trumpeter Don Cherry and drummer Ed Blackwell. Evokes the style of Bill Evans (pianist) with rich harmonies from the Romantic and Impressionist periods. Other influences: Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarret, Brad Mehldau, Michel Petrucciani, Chick Corea, Oscar Peterson.
