Album Notes

New Release "Bowed Psaltery Christmas" with Rick Long and Friends. Rick has been building and playing the bowed psaltery since 1980. This is his third and newest CD project. This CD features Rick playing four different sizes of the bowed psaltery - soprano, tenor, baritone, and bass, along with the chorded zither and folk guitar. The tenor, baritone, and bass bowed psalteries are being plucked as well as bowed on several of the songs. Terry Lewis plays the appalachian dulcimer, Sabrina Kumar on the Flute parts, and William (Sandy) Garrett on the folk guitar.
