Album Notes

New Release "Rosin the Bow" with Rick Long and Friends. Rick has been building and playing the bowed psaltery since 1980. This is his second CD. This CD features Rick playing three different sizes of the bowed psaltery - soprano, baritone, and bass, along with the chorded zither and folk guitar. Terry Lewis plays the appalachian dulcimer, Sabrina Kumar on the Flute and folk guitar, and William (Sandy) Garrett on the upright bass. There are plenty of favorites on this CD with beautiful arrangements and harmonies all with the delightful, haunting sound of the bowed psaltery.
