Rick Meyers was raised in southern Michigan between Detroit and Chicago. From that place he developed his taste for Soul, Folk, and Rock music. The revolutionary music of the British Invasion, Classic Rock, Jazz, and the Social Protest Movement also touched him. His music has grown out of conflict and freedom, love and loss. Rick's music is rooted in the struggles of life and the dream of what can be.
His move to Colorado after college influenced his connection to the mountains and the country. His music is impacting and always has a message. It's passionate and heart felt with layers of meaning. When asked if I'd like his music, he answered with a smile and said: "Taste and See." He combines rock, jazz, and soul in a unique way.
He still lives in Colorado and also connects with the ocean as often as possible. Rick's music? It's classic rock with a contemporary message. It ranks as some of the best I've heard in a long time. Fasten your seat belts and enjoy the rhythmic ride to see the world again "With The Eyes Of A Child." It just might change your perspective.......

A friend turned me on to this album he got from a cousin. I started listening to it and can't get enough. Usually if there are a couple of songs on an album I like, it's a successful buy. I like ALL of these songs. They're growing on me and they're all different. What a great CD.

author: Cristi Rivero
Not only is the music fantastic, alive and full of energy and passion, but the songs can stand on their own lyrically. Words that my heart, soul and spirit need to hear over and over.
