This Cd is a collection of songs written by Rick Ott. All selections were recorded at From The Heart Recording Studio located in the small town of Sopchoppy FL (pop. < 500). Seven of the nine musicians live in the woods of Sopchoppy and gather together almost weekly to jam. They have played professionally for twenty years or more, together and separately, and represent some of Northwest Florida’s finest musicians. Sopchoppy is fast becoming the “Music Capital of NW Florida.”
Rick Ott is the “in house” engineer at the studio and can be reached at (850) 962-5282. He currently is mastering his next CD, “Stickmen and Other Childhood Traumas,” that will be available on CD Baby soon. Rick enjoys working with other artists on their projects. The studio currently has five projects underway that will be completed by the end of this year.
We hope you enjoy this eclectic compilation of songs which are a fine representation of the enormous talent found in the small town of Sopchoppy.

I have listened to Rick play music since I was about 9 or 10 years old and let me tell you-his music just keeps getting better and better! Rick has this unique ability to encourage his audience to embrace his music as passionately as he does. If you ever have the chance to see them live don’t let it pass you by…you will find yourself mesmerized by their music and you will dance and sing along as if it were your own show! As for the CD, buy it and you will find that you can’t stop listening to it. Every time I listen to the CD there is something different than the time before...it never gets old. Definitely take the time to listen to Do The Same For You...I guarantee that you too will become racked with emotion as you listen to the music and think of that special someone who has helped you in life. This CD has something for everyone and should be shared with as many people as you know!
