Album Notes

My fifth science and nature educational CD, Science On The Wild Side Unleashed, uses music to help make learning entertaining and fun. This CD also contains songs about history and some ancient civilizations - the Maya Civilization (They Were Mayans), the ancient Aztecs (The Aztec Song), and the Inca Civilization (The Inca Rap). Other songs include facts about unique and interesting animals: Sweet Sugar Glider, Rhino-Mite, Sea Cowboy (manatees), Rock Wallaby Rock, Mac Macaw Knows His Law, Pandamonium, and Seahorse Stampede. There’s also a special Christmas story-song about polar bears called A Christmas Bearly Saved as well as a bonus holiday song – Holiday Fun. Add to these a song about the rock cycle – Rock On, Rock Cycle, Rock On – and a song about Mother Nature and the Earth’s cycles – Mother Nature’s Rockin’ Way – and you have a lot of facts and information set to some rockin’ music. Like my other science CDs, there’s a wide variety of musical styles on the CD with lots of humor added. The songs are great teaching tools that can be used with class work lessons as well as in science and history skits and plays – the National Science Foundation (NSF) has told me that they enjoy the songs and the free, biweekly science podcast that I do. As a teacher, I’ve always believed that, if students are having fun learning, they will be more motivated and eager to learn.
Hope you enjoy the songs.
