This new recording is mostly a groovin’ solo piano presentation, with three beautiful trio tracks featuring young great playing bassist Josef Deas and smokin’ drummer Thaddeus Dixon. Rick Roe contributes five of his own blues filled compositions mixed with some well known standards and jazz classics. All arrangements by Roe make the program flow very smoothly. This is the sixth CD now released on his Unknown Records Inc. label.

From beautiful ballads to boppin’ and swingin’ hits, to funk and latin tinged takes, this new recording takes the listener on a completely enjoyable musical experience.
