Written for his granddaughter who was born with Down Syndrome, ANGELS DO has become an anthem for the special needs community around the world and is seen regularly on Treehouse TV. Rick is a Goodwill Ambassador for Down Syndrome research.

WHO IS RICK SCOTT?
Rick is an award winning father, grandfather and family entertainer who travels the globe bringing music and laughter to audiences of all ages. He has released 15 albums of heart-warming original music, including six highly acclaimed children's recordings that have sold over 90,000 copies.

THE 5 ELEMENTS won 2004 NAPPA Gold and Parents’ Choice Awards and was nominated for a Juno Award (Canada’s Grammies). MAKING FACES won Best Children's Release in the 2001 West Coast Music Awards and is Parents' Choice Approved. RICK AROUND THE ROCK is 2004 Parents Choice Recommended. In 2006, Rick will release SNOOZE MUSIC, a collection of original dulcimer lullabies for everybody from infant to elder. Includes Stephen Foster’s classic lullaby SLUMBER MY DARLING, featuring vocalist mom Andrea L’Heureux.

Rick is Canada's leading proponent of the Appalachian dulcimer, a four stringed instrument which kids in the Yukon nicknamed 'The Electric Snowshoe.'
