These are selections from the SECOND ANNUAL BLUES & BOOGIE PIANO SUMMIT, dated November 3rd, 2000 which took place @ The Historic Southgate House in Newport, Kentucky- this is an annual event dedicated to preserving & promoting boogie woogie & blues piano, and also a great excuse to get together with my piano playin' buddies and have a great time!

This disc features Charlie Booty from Milan, Tennessee, who specializes in figured piano blues- myself doing some New Orleans numbers, boogie & blues- Renaud Patigny from Brussels, Belgium with his highly energetic style, and Carl Sonny Leyland from Southampton, England, a former member of Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys, a very amazing and accomplished player & singer- one of the VERY best!
