Witty, confident, demanding, determined, goal oriented, caring, funny, trendy, a people person, a**hole and leader. Those are some of the terms one might throw out when describing the 26 year old Blaqrhythm recording artist and Vice President, but when it comes to music many have called Rico da next big thing. Yeah that is a huge statement in this world of entertainment, but with the decline in good strong hip hop music Rico might just very well be da Next big thing. His style differs far from the usual independent artist who mostly rap about cars, money, jewlery, drugs, guns, freaky women and oh dont forget the dance moves. Being a Dj on the side Rico listens and appreciates all music, well all good music as he puts it, but also states that he cannot stand the current state of hip hop and is on a mission to try and bring that feeling that hip hop heads had when albums of like Reasonable Doubt, No Way out, Ready to Die, All eyes on Me and Illmatic dropped.
Rico broke into the game with his first effort "A Day in the Life" in 2008, he immediately jumping back in the studio Rico attacked the mic with ferocity and hunger came up with big with his spectacular sophomore release "I AM HIM"
