This is our second album and is an excellent representation of the culmination of our experience of writing and performing together over the last five years in the Nashville area. Everyone in the group enjoys a wide range of musical styles and genres(doesn't just about everybody?) and it really comes out in this album. Seven originals, six from within the project, one from a good friend and one cover - our take on the killer tune Red Clay from Freddie Hubbard. If you only check out one example make it this one because it captures the philosophy of the group to a tee. Please check them all out though because even though it's all jazz, a lot of sub-genres are covered. We love albums that take you on a journey and where each cut exists on it's own merit but also dovetails you into the next one, where the only necessarily unifying factor of them all is the players and the soul they put into their playing. We love the excitement and challenge of putting as many different sounds and feels into a project as it will bear. It is my sincere wish that you will enjoy our efforts!
All the members of the group have enjoyed a wide-ranging and diverse career in music in the Nashville area over the years. Tours, recording sessions, live performance, music industry, educating and many more are all part of the RBP members' resume.
Co-founder Jimmy Bowland's sax and woodwind work can be heard on Delbert McClinton's Grammy nominated album "Room To Breathe", The Mavericks latest release, gospel recording artist Joe Pace's grammy nominated "Shake the Foundation" and his latest release "Sunday Morning Service"(check this out if you really like horn section work) along with scores of others. He has performed and toured with the likes of Aretha Franklin, the Temptations,
the Ojays, Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Bob Hope, Brenda Lee, Funk Brother Bob Babbitt and scores of others.
The most important person we're performing for now is you!!
We hope you enjoy......"Where It's At".

Musical, Soulful & Spirited
author: Shane
Where It's At? Musical, that's where it begins; Great groove, great communication among the members of the group. Soulful, this is where it moves you next; There is a virtuosic display of sensitivity & fire when necessary. Spirited; This is where it concludes; You can tell the guys have a genuine love for what they're doing & the music they're creating. Musical, Soulful, Sprited - Yeah! That's "Where It's At"!
