Western Air is a collection of songs, which, while written with no overall concept in mind, represent a multitude of emotions and mental states driven by the struggles faced by a young generation who was promised the world, just as the world was changing. Not a political album as much as social commentary, Rightfully Accused attempts to explain a complex variety of emotions and thoughts that seem to run through a large part of a generation.
Join us as we attempt to explain through a series of releases, what is meant by "Elements of the New American Dream".
Classy, Chic, Sophisticated is the first part of a four part series and deals with some of the raw confusion and emotional strain experienced as the world we grew up in, fell apart. It also challenges the very ideas and definitions of the words in it's title. What do these words mean today? It promotes the ideas, while also mocking them. All of Western Air is also about simpifying, re-inventing, embracing and questioning everything. We're not necessarily saying something is good or bad, just saying "Look, here's the way it is.". Confused? So are we.
