At an early age, I became interested in music. I sang in the church choir, however, I did not participate, as I should have. During my intermediate level of schooling, I began participating in singing on the choir. I have a deep and strong love for music. At around the ninth grade, I realized that I was able to do more with my voice than most people. I realized that I had tremendous voice control. At times, I was astounded at the development of my own voice.
In addition to singing, I have played percussion instruments throughout high school. At present, I am teaching myself how to play the keyboard by ear. I think I am doing a pretty good job! I have developed an ear for music. By doing so, it has made it easier for me to play the keyboard. I’m still not Mozart but gradually I am developing this hidden talent. It inspires me to sing and write music. Recently, I wrote a song.
In 1997 I met three guys who wanted to form a group. Our voices blended well. We song at several shows and church programs. With our peers, our group name, Fomo became very popular. In 1998 the group separated to pursue other interest. Later, I began to sing with just one of the group members. We also sang at shows. The both of us are still singing. We are dedicated to the music in a way that keeps us together.
My future plans involve being a singer and a musician. I further plan to enhance my skills where it benefits me best as an artist. If music is not conducive to my talents, I will utilize my knowledge in electronics.
My hobbies are playing the keyboard, singing, playing basketball, and hanging out with my friends.
