Nile Valley Entertainment recording artist Rippa Jahson was born the eldest of five children in Kingston 13 Jamaica W.I. As a young man of only 10 years Mr. Jahson began to sing, emulating singers such as, LEROY GIBBONS and Michael Buckley. Mr. Jahson began singing professionally at the age of 13 in various talent shows and community events including "Ghetto Splash". His first big performance came at the tender age of 14 with such artists as, CAPT. BARKEY, WICKER MAN, GHOST, CULTURE AND DIGNITARY STYLISH. As a youth man Mr. Jahson became a world traveler with performances in Europe, America and many of the Caribbean Islands with such artists as, SANCHEZ, BUSHMAN, GLEN WASHINGTON, FREDDY MCGREGOR, LUCIANO, JAH CURE, GARY GOLD, SLUGGY RANKS, SAMMY DREAD, CONROY SMITH, MICHAEL PALMER, JOE LICKSHOT, FRANKY PAUL, CAPELETON, ANDREW TOSH, JUNIOR GONG and ZIGGEY MARLEY, just to name a few. Mr. Jahson's musical flow is riddled with messianic messages and his performance is lively, with energy like lightening. Mr. Jahson released his first album, Rastafari Love, in August of 2007 on the NILE VALLEY ENTERTAINMENT (www.nilevalley.biz) label, with guest artists KHARI KILL, DAZZLIN AND TERRORIST. Look out for the voice to be reckoned with to arrive for the 2007 holiday season!!! Performances throughout December into 2008 and beyond... album in stores for the 2007 holiday season.
