SONGS TO GET DEPRESSED ABOUT
When one is confronted with the disappointments life likes to offer, questioning arises, anger develops, screaming occurs, and sadness sets in. These disappointments can happen on a regular basis to some people, causing them to sing sad angry songs and alienate themselves from the joyous festivities of the throngs. Thoughtful analysis of the situation yields lyrical intelligence, yet still the emotions supersede attempts at intellectual clarity.
The Songs To Get Depressed About generally avoid the musical slowdown the depressive state tends to inspire in convention-wielding musicians, preferring to rock out at a quick clip (with a few exceptions). Melodies, organs, drums, etc. permeate the articulate expression of one man trying to make sense out of a senseless world.
