This CD represents a collection of songs that will work perfect for background music at parties, a soundtrack while driving down the road or just kickin' back & relaxing.
About the artist:
As written by the Editor-in-Chief Michael Molenda of Guitar Player Magazine July 2007 Issue:...Ritchie Hernandez Prescott Valley, Arizona “Salsa Picoso”... Hernandez cops a fair amount of Latin motifs—melodically, harmonically, and rhythmically—but the combination feels so good, and the result is a pretty blastin’ party track for a summer afternoon. He manages to twist a few wah-phrased Santana-isms into surprising little lines, and he knows when to shut up and let the band groove.
I've been playing for over 30 years. Began writing and recording my own music in 2003 and haven't stopped since. I love doing what I do and am not really concerned about any market success...so long as people enjoy my creations. I enjoy the process as well as the final creation each time. Inspiration can come from just playing a note... catching a certain vibe and flowing with it. Main goal is to uplift the human spirit and make life just a little brighter. My profile has been featured in the July issue of Guitar Player Magazine in the section named, "Editor Boy's Big Eight"...featuring musicians listed on MySpace.com. My music has also been featured on Podcasts originating from U.S., Germany, Finland, Nova Scotia, Japan, Netherlands, Brazil, UK, S. Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Ireland, Greenland, Costa Rica Talk Radio, Poland, Venezuela and Greece.
I'm listed on the PodSafe Music Network:
