This is about as silky smooth as you can get. Rivera´s vocals on the ten songs on this country disc are as easy to listen to as anything I have heard. Sounding like the deeper end of Willie Nelson, and smoothing his way through the standard country subject matter of love lost, unrequited, yearned for and despised, Rivera´s co-self-produced work features tight arrangements and strong melodies throughout. This is the kind of music and performance that will have the ladies swooning in the aisles, and should make readio play a virtual formality in the right hands
