Album Notes

New explorations into the themes of living in a climate of war and our eventual salvation by the Sacred Feminine are illustrated in the Rivercity Seven's third release, "Eve". An ecclectic mix of soul, reggae, rock, and pop pervade this 2006 self-produced album from the pen of lead singer and keyboardist, Robb Froman. Accompanied by lead guitarist, John McClane and bassist and celloist, Frank Kammerdiener, the material once again expands the band's musical evolution and synthesizes many different styles into a musical whole.

This album has some really great songs. Eve's Theme and She's A Spinner are definitely hits that stay with you for a while, but Murderous Monkeys is one of those songs that really stands out, above the rest.

Great CD! Really like the song "Jellyroll". Reminds me of a classic Leon Russell or Jeff Lynn song. "Murderous Monkeys" is very Beatlesque...great. Robb Froman is really a talented song writer/musician. Bravo.
