RCO Live at the Farris Theatre

by River Cow Orchestra

Some people have come to a River Cow Orchestra performance expecting lots of noise and chaos. Often, they are surprised to hear music that is solid and well constructed, and exhibits a wide variety of influences. It's zen jazz--give it a listen.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
These tracks are from a concert recorded live at the Farris Theatre in Richmond, Missouri. It presents the wide variety of influences RCO brings to a performance. As always, all the music was created on the spot without any charts or planning. From using a poem as a jump-off point to add-libbing a fable about canned meat, River Cow Orchestra is all about invention. Try listening to a couple of tracks and see if what you expect is what happens. You may be pleasantly surprised--just like the audience at the Farris Theatre.
