ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This 5-song compilation CD project features:

Aaron Strumpel – Home on Your Heart
Kate Hurley – Restore
Jason Roberson – Hope of The World
A Boy & His Kite – Sympathy
Kate Hurley – River Don’t You Cry.

This CD project benefits “River’s Promise”, a non-profit entity focused on helping orphans in Africa. “River’s Promise” was started by Jimmy & Carrie Lakey in tribute to their adopted son from Rwanda, River Matison Moise Lakey, who arrived home to the USA in September 2008.

Jimmy & Carrie Lakey promised River that they would help fund the education of the many orphans that remained in Rwanda and they started “River’s Promise” to facilitate this giving. While funding the education of orphans is the main priority, “River’s Promise” is also involved in meeting other needs of orphans in Africa. The proceeds of this project are directed to these efforts.
