Album Notes

The SONNETS FOR PIANO were written by modern master composer & conductor Robert Ian Winstin while he was dating his wife Susan. Each piece is a love note to Susan from Winstin on the road.

Each time Winstin would write a SONNET, he would dash into a local recording studio and send the tape off to Susan.

Those pirate tapes circulated to fans and radio stations until ERM convinced Winstin to record the complete set at one sitting in one studio.

This CD represents the entire collection of SONNETS recorded by the composer in one studio.
