Album Notes

Little is known about the life of Ray Johnson, past or present.

His music comes from somewhere within the West, and currently extends somewhere into the Midwest.

His only known live appearance occured on the 6th of June, 2001 in the music tent at the Backwoods festival near Avoca, Wisconsin.

Although he hasn't been seen since, there is speculation among certain music circles in the SF Bay Area that Johnson may be behind recent rumors of a mysterious band being formed there.

We who yearn to know more about the enigmatic crooner can only wait for further evidence of his existence.
