Album Notes
This is the first CD putting this band center stage after they have backed up several of Detroit's old-school performers. They have been recorded backing up Johnnie Bassett, Alberta Adams, Gino Parks, Odessa Harris & The Detroit Rhythm & Blues Pioneers. Now it is their turn to shine. Five of the nine songs on this disc are penned and sung by singer/sax player, Joe Piccolo. Bassist, Ben Luttermoser, sings "We're Gonna Jump Tonight" and pianist, Shawn McDonald, sings the remaining two songs. Recorded at the Music Menu in Detroit, the Rhythm Rockers home for the last ten years. Now featuring a newly designed cover!

I bought this CD for my wife who has seen them live and loves them. She simply loves it. Her car has a 10 disc CD changer but I couldn't say what the other 9 CDs are because this CD is all I hear.

Boogie my woogie any ol' time!
The voices are fab, the lyrics worth listening to, the beat wants to make ya dance ..... just a darn good album,,,, might have to try singing a few of the songs myself.... great job!

Great band, cool dudes too!
This CD is great because its live and upbeat. This is by far my favorite blues band, mainly because I see them live in hamtramck at the New Dodge Lounge every thurs. They are simply stuning. Ive been around to some other places, and to be honest, the other bands cant compete. Plus they will hang out and drink a beer with you, they are cool. Everyone that Ive taken to listen to them fell in love, and they werent even into blues music! get this CD, or better yet listen to them live.
