Album Notes

It is no less than miraculous that Robert and Laura's lives were radically changed when they received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives.

Robert and Laura are extremely blessed to be able to write and perform their original Christian music as a husband and wife duo. The songs on the CD "Jesus Only You" are both upbeat and reflective - meant to fill your heart with the joy of the Lord. The music includes many influences and yet is permeated with a definite "folk music" flavor.

They met on a cruise ship in the Caribbean when Laura came aboard to perform as a night club singer. Robert was playing bass in the show band. Since then, they have shared their music at churches, concert venues, coffee houses and corporate banquets from New York to California and points in between.

Robert has worked a number of years as an electric and acoustic bassist. He has toured in the U.S. and Europe playing styles that range from Big Band to improvisational jazz, popular music and blues. He also plays acoustic guitar and various percussion instruments. He has recorded with a variety of artists.

Laura started as a professional actress and nightclub singer in New York City. She studied acting with Lee Strasberg at Carnegie Hall and also performed in various workshops and productions at the Actors Studio in New York. She appeared in theaters and clubs throughout the northeast. Laura studied voice with Maurice Jampol and has performed as a vocalist in nightclubs and supper clubs around the world.
