Gave my yoga practice a fresh start with this awesome CD!
author: Larry DiMatteo, Pittsburgh Pa.
My yoga teacher gave me this CD -- said he felt that, as a musician, I could use some musical inspiration for my yoga practice, which was getting kind of B-flat. He couldn’t have been more perceptive; this was just the kick, so to speak, I needed to get my flagging practice going again. I look forward to getting onto the mat again with this music playing on my great sound system. All the different types of percussion really speak to me, some cuts just seem to fit with certain poses. Flute and vibes are two of my favorite instruments anyway and this married couple has some great chops – they are both awesome musicians.

The ultimate CD for meditation/yoga/exercise/jazz lovers/everyone
author: Hedy Straus
The stunning, celestial vibes and the profoundly soulful tones of the flutes are only the beginning of the amazing musicality of this eclectic CD. This is not your usual, boring, synthesized version of music for meditation; nor is it only for meditation and yoga. We are a Bu-Jew/home office/zen meditation/home exercise/jazz fanatics/quiet reading household -- and there's something on this for all of us. We are especially grateful for the unique arrangement of the Sh'ema, the ultimate Jewish prayer, rendered here with familiar melody, yet jazzed overtones -- more than I can describe, which goes for the whole CD... Even our cats register astonishment at the sound of the bells in the opening Om Nama Shivaya. There's also a leisurely, undulating rendition of Amazing Grace like none other I've heard. And the soothing, shimmering sound of cicadas on another cut puts me back in a summer night in Pennsylvania. I hear something new everytime I listen. This is a CD that entices me, with the variety and musical skill of it's offerings and the clear intention that comes through in every note, to do what I try to do in my spiritual practice: pay attention and wake up! If you buy only one CD this year, let it be this one -- your body/mind/spirit will thank you!
