Andrew Forbes
Musician,Singer,Songwriter

Born on March 18,1969 in Portland, Jamaica, I am the 7th of nine children for my parents. I grew up in the deep rural district of Bybrook in Portland. My talent as a singersongwriter emerged very early during my childwood years. I would sing at almost all community events such as church and school concerts. It was at about age 11 that I started to take the music seriously. Back then, the sound systems were very popular and one-drop reggaedancehall rhythms were in full swing. In my town there was a sound called TRILLER TONE HI-FI and I was one of the top DJ on it. I was known then as Nelly Culture. This went well and I began to gain popularity as a DJ. At age 15, though, I got a scholarship to attend ST.MARY HIGH SCHOOL and I subsequently shifted focus from music to academics. My love for reggae music was, however, not affected by this shift in focus.

Zaro

DJ,Songwriter

ONE OF THE HOTTEST DJ'S OUT OF JAMAICA!
THIS CD features raw Jamaican talent of an explosive DJ who writes his own lyrics! Zaro's style remains true to the roots of "dancehall". His music chronicles the struggles of people throughout the World who live in the "ghetto". He is not afraid to speak of the political and socio-economic chains that bind his people. Zaro is an artist to watch, and more importantly, a concious man to listen to.

Singing Chris

Singing Chris can be easily categorized among Jamaica’s most versatile and talented young reggae artists. His unique sound and energetic stage performances make him tower above most upcoming talents in reggae today. Chris is from Farm Town in St Ann and although little is known about his younger years it is evident that his musical ambitions were establish from very early. It can be a difficult challenge for a poor youth from the rural parts of Jamaica to break into the limelight. Singing Chris experienced this challenge and his humble and somewhat laid back personality compounded the problem.

In the early 90s, however, Singing Chris was discovered by Tony Nicholson of Roadside Production. Under Nicholson’s mentorship Singing Chris steadily developed into a fine recording artist and an excellent stage performer. His first single, “lover”, produced by Tony Nicholson and released on the Roadside Production label earned him good recognition on the local reggae scene. The lyrics of this song highlight the artist respect for women and his support for stable family life.

Singing Chris is aiming to make a big impact on the reggae world. He is a star in the making and the world will see him shining in the very near future.
