Album Notes

The Way Home celebrates the bond between the Irish and Scottish people, historic cousins who share much of their musical traditions. This recording seeks to entwine, rather than blend, the two traditions. Our hope is that it transports the listener homeward, back to the music's sources.

Featuring:

George Balderose: Highland Bagpipes; Smallpipes in the keys of A, D, & C.

Colyn C. Fisher: Scottish Fiddle

Richard Hughes:Concert D flute, vocals, guitar
