Album Notes

"I Am Not Ashamed" was written in response to all the fear of man that drives so many Christians today. We must be "bold as lions (Proverbs 28:1)." I came into an understanding of the Sovereignty of God and saw that most Christians think that God is not in control of everything, including our salvation. "God is Sovereign" was written to put down a lot of Bible verses to song that display that our Great King Jesus is the "Ruler of the kings of the earth" (Revelation 1:5). With so much pessimism in the Church these days I thought it would be good to write an encouraging song about how we are commanded to "be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might" (Ephesians. 6:10). I wrote "We Will Be Strong" with a chorus that has two encouraging Bible verses combined: Ephesians 6:10 and Hebrews 10:23. I continued my electronic sound of music and song into a few other songs that I mainly played around with on the computer.

I love hymns because most of them are rich in Biblical truth. I picked out some of my favorite hymns and recorded them in a way that I like to sing them: with energy and passion. I hope you will enjoy my songs and be encouraged at the same time. May the peace of our King Jesus Christ be upon you. Amen.
