ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Spirit Walk" is Rob Blaine's first album of music for meditation. The tracks on this CD are examples of Western and Eastern music focusing on creating a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere conducive to meditation.

The album is entirely instrumental and makes use of acoustic and synthesized sounds to bring about an atmosphere of serenity. In certain tracks original recordings of exotic instruments not easily accessible in the modern world are used to create a sense of mysticism to produce the desired result. Track 4, "Tibet", is one such example where an original recording of a Tibetan bowl is used to start the track, giving it a great deal of authenticity.

Other instruments featured on this album are: piano, dizi (a Chinese flute) erhu ( the Chinese equivalent of the violin) flute, sitar, synthesizers and many others. Also to be found are elements of nature in the form of wind, rain, birds etc.

This CD is highly recommended for holistic health professionals or anyone interested in meditation.
