Robby Celestin is simply the best underground singer to come out of Chicago. His father was a singer in the old Atlantic Records act The Enchanters and performed shows with many famous Motown acts like the Jackson 5. Robby grew up listening to this old soul music as well as other acts like the Beatles, Earth, Wind and Fire, Blues Traveler, Dave Matthews, Curtis Mayfield, and Bob Marley. He took these influences and combined them into his own unique style. He has an outstanding voice that can drive a heavy groove or beautify a smooth ballad. Robby has performed all over the world and is known for his wit and onstage energy. There is a genuine love of music and singing that just comes through on this CD. You will enjoy listening to this one for a long long time.

VOICEPRINTS is more than a CD. It's an experience. Each song has a unique personality. The grooves and stories in songs like The Breakup and The Way are personal, thoughtful and fun all at once. Move On is a "Santana type" piece that features a full blown horn section, percussion, and an outstanding vocal delivery. Get Me is one of the best lyrical pieces you'll ever hear. It has a great "Chili Peppers" groove with a smart message and Flow is an emotional soul searching Reggae song that speaks right to you.
